Remote learning survey and protocol reminder
The Department of Education Inspectorate have produced a survey to gather parents views on remote teaching and learning. The Department wants to find out how your child is experiencing remote teaching and learning. What you think as a parent is very important to the Department. It will help the Department to advise schools on how to further develop their provision for remote teaching and learning. The survey will only take you a few minutes to complete. It is completely anonymous and no one else, other than you, will know about your answers. Click here to complete the survey https://checkbox.education.gov.ie/checkbox/remote_teaching_learning.aspx A reminder that, as stated in point 5 in the school's protocols for remote e-learning, 'live classes should be viewed by the student from the class only and no other members of the household'. It has come to our attention that some students are not following this protocol. We would like to remind parents and students of the importance of this. We will discuss this further with students at their next assembly.

SVP Virtual Hamper Appeal - Thank You!
We are overwhelmed with the generosity of our school community and so far have raised over €3525 in donations for the virtual hampers. Thank you for donations received so far. Tomorrow we will be giving the money to the SVP, but donations can still be made over the Christmas holidays, and this will be donated after the break. Every year the society of St. Vincent de Paul provides help with food to thousands of families at Christmas. In Holy Faith Clontarf, we have a longstanding tradition where we all come together to make up food hampers for those in need. This year will be different, so we are hoping that our school will take part in the St. Vincent de Paul Virtual Hamper Appeal. You can buy a virtual hamper for one by donating €10, for two by donating €25, for four by donating €50 or for a family by donating €100. These can be purchased using the school's online payments system, which is accessed via the school website. Merry Christmas
