Wicklow.


Ember, a faith leadership programme through the Dublin Diocese, prepares students to become faith leaders within their school community. During their time in Ovoca, the girls took part in a range of team bonding & leadership activities, strengthening their confidence and bond as a team.

Freyja began by winning 800m Gold at the U19 National Championships, producing a fantastic performance in a highly competitive field.

Just one week later, she stepped up to U20 level and came away with a brilliant Bronze medal, setting a new personal best and breaking the 2:10 barrier for the first time.

Freyja’s outstanding summer completes the full set of National medals:
🥇 Gold – U19 National Championships
🥈 Silver – All-Ireland Schools
🥉 Bronze – Junior/U20 National Championships

A fantastic achievement and a wonderful reflection of Freyja’s talent, hard work and dedication.

  • Gold – 1500m Freestyle
  • Gold – 800m Freestyle
  • Silver – 400m Freestyle
  • Bronze – 200m Freestyle

Lucie has retained her National titles in the 1500m and 800m Freestyle for the third year in a row, which is a fantastic achievement.

The final awards ceremony was particularly special for our 6th Year students as they marked the end of their journey in Holy Faith.

The event will take place, at the end of June, in the Basketball Arena. Maddie has trained very hard all year and we’re all extremely proud of her achievements.

Also, congratulations to Jerome Westbrook, our school basketball coach, who was inducted into the Ireland basketball hall of fame. An amazing achievement!

They won a One for All vouchers for themselves and Sidea Equipment for the school gym.

The money was raised through our annual class calendar fundraiser.
Ms Hunt spoke to students about the services that Saint Francis Hospice offers and the new building development that will see 24 new, individual ensuite rooms completed at the St. Francis Raheny site. Thank you to Ms Hunt and to Ms Daly for coordinating the fundrasier. Well done to everyone involved!
