6th Year student Freyja O’Carroll had a summer to remember on the track, continuing to make her mark on elite running in Ireland.
Freyja began by winning 800m Gold at the U19 National Championships, producing a fantastic performance in a highly competitive field.
Just one week later, she stepped up to U20 level and came away with a brilliant Bronze medal, setting a new personal best and breaking the 2:10 barrier for the first time.
