The school’s basketball programme has been highly successful at both regional and National Level in both cup and league competitions. The Cadet team are current cup and league champions while the Senior team are league title holders.

A number of squad members currently play for the Irish team at U16, U17 and U18 level. The school itself represented Ireland in Poland in the Word Cadet Championships in 2006 finishing eight just behind China.
