Leinster Debates

Debating Season has started in Holy Faith Clontarf! Our senior students competed in Round 1 of the Leinster Debates in Trinity College last Tuesday. The debate topic was:’ This House Would (as the EU) incentivise fast fashion companies to adopt ethical production methods.’
Our teams were Natalie Kilcullen and Iris Cooney; Elise Jewtushenko and Rebecca Furey who proposed the motion and Phoenix Hickson-Pitt and Rachel Casey; Cara Lynch and Zoe Kennedy who opposed the motion. All girls spoke eloquently and were a credit to the school.
