Leinster Debating Round 3

Our Senior Debating Team had a very successful evening in Trinity on Tuesday, 20th January. Two of our teams , Arianna Ceraldi and Emma Kearns, Phoenix Hickson-Pitt and Rachel Casey (6th Years) were placed first in their groups and Alannah Hamill(6th) and Rachel Morrossey(TY) were placed second. Congratulations girls!                                                                                                                  

The motion was ‘This House Opposes the narrative of individual responsibility for climate change’ with two of our teams opposing the motion and Arianna and Emma proposing.The girls spoke passionately and eloquently and impressed the adjudicators with their knowledge and delivery.
