Leinster Debating Semi Final

Congratulations to Emma Kearns (6th Year) for reaching the semi-finals of the Leinster School Debates Competition. Emma reached the top 16 teams and individual speakers. The semi-finals were held in UCD on Tuesday, 24th Feb. Emma opposed the motion ‘ This House Opposes the narrative that, in times of individual crisis (debt, illness, death of a family member) people must significantly prioritize collective well-being at the expense of individual well-being’ 

Well done Emma on representing the school so well. We are very proud of your achievement!
